VPN Connection Types

Island-supported types of VPN connections:

Island-to-Island 
Site-to-site where both sites have an Island; either end can initiate a connection to access devices at the other end.
Uses: employee home to office, office to office, office to home, home to home

Island to third-party or public VPN 
Island acts as a client to any 3rd-party VPN service, such as NordVPN or Mullvad, that supports WireGuard.
Uses:  A popular set-up for geo-flexibility, such as streaming sports or event content from another city as if you were physically at that location.
